The Loop Hole

My Dad is in the sermon series right now called Tru Identity. A couple of weeks ago he preached on Tru Love, and how you should love one another. Whether it is your brother or sister, or you brothers and sisters in christ. There are a couple of verses that correspond with what God says about that. One is "He who loves God yet hates his brother, then he is a liar." The second verse says that you should not call your brother an idiot and should not call your sister stupid. I had a thought. What if you call your brother stupid and your sister an idiot. Would that be considered a tiny little loop hole around the sin. I do not think so. I think that it is a sin regardless. In my opinion regardless what you call your brother or sister it is still a sin. I think God was simply trying to explain that our love towards our siblings has great importance. Although I get mad at them, and even call them names sometimes, I still love them.

Halo

As you know from a previous blog, my brother and I got an xbox. Well we have bought Halo I and Halo II. We have started a co-op campaign, and it is totally awesome. The game adds a little bit of old school fighting, with some new school equipment and weapons. As you can imagine I cannot wait to get home from school, so I can play Halo. I am very impressed with this series of games. It gets a thumbs up.

End Of School.....Yay!!!

As you probably know the school year is beginning to wind down, end of the year tests and exams are being taken. As the year winds down it made me think a little bit. It reminded me of how we've been in Grand Ledge for almost a year. I can remember back in May when my family was just looking into Grand Ledge, and then I remember the day we registered at Grand Ledge. Then finally my first day at Grand Ledge High School. I have to say, the year has gone good for me. Right at the start of the year I was the stranger, the one with no friends. As the year progressed I began to come out of my shell, I met some new friends, got really involved with the band. Now as the year is coming to an end, I can look back and say WOW!!! What a great year I had in Grand Ledge Michigan. Hopefully the next years will be just as good or even better than this one.
